GÖREME AND IT'S SURROUNDS offers a rich diversity of experiences that cater for all tastes and travel styles. From the finest of churches carved out of the local rock dating back to the 10th Century to the underground cities, this unique locality has an abundance of world renowned natural wonders.

A leisurely hike through Pigeon or Rose Valley is a perfect way to experience the area. Most local attractions are within walking distance and nearby towns are only a short drive or bus ride from Aydinli.

For the food lover, the region has an eclectic mix of traditonal and modern Turkish cuisine. There are also farmers markets on Mondays and Fridays in nearby towns.

Tours

Group tours covering the main sights run daily. If you prefer to explore at your own pace or develop your own itineary, we can assist in making private tour arrangements.

Various guided hiking tours ranging between two to four hours are always available. These include a light lunch and depart daily, weather permiting.

For something a bit different you can join a Turkish cooking class, take a kilim weaving tour, go horseback riding or even learn how to belly dance!

Hot Air Ballooning

For the more adventurous guest there really is no better way to experience Cappadocia than drifting aloft in a hot air balloon. Hot air ballooning in Cappadocia attracts balloon pilots from all corners of the globe to fly in this magical landscape.

There are two flight options ? a Standard 1 hour flight, and a Deluxe 1.5 hour flight. Balloon tours start around 5:00 am depending on sunrise, and include all transfers to/from your hotel, a light breakfast, watching the inflation process of the balloon, and, after landing, a well-earned champagne celebration. You will arrive back at your hotel around 8:30 am.
